To mark the occasion of the company's 150th anniversary, the Freudenberg Group has launched an international youth program in 1999. This worldwide program is in line with the company's thoroughly international orientation nowadays, and it aims to offer employees' children and grandchildren aged from 14 to 20 the opportunity to spend between two and four weeks with the family of another employee in one of the 40 countries where Freudenberg is represented.

SCHOOL TO COMPANY INTERCHANGE  

Corcos Industriale cooperates with high schools offering young people the opportunity to work, for one month, in the production department. The aim is to prepare the young person for the workplace and to make them responsible through real work experiences.

YOUNG PEOPLE PROGRAM  

The Young People Program is a program developed by Freudenberg Dichtungs- und Schwingungstechnik KG (seals and vibration control technology) specially for young professionals and complements the direct career start. Those taking part in this 18-month Program learn all about the various units and locations in the FDS Group. Projects that last several months, specialist and management seminars and periods abroad are all part and parcel of the European program for university graduates.

ZERO ACCIDENTS  

This Corcos project demonstrates the continuous and concrete efforts in maintaining and improving safety conditions within the Company Responsibility, providing appropriate training and giving good examples are the most important tools to reach the target.

FOREIGN WORKERS  

Corcos encourages the engagement of foreign workers. The project represents one of the best opportunities for promoting a multicultural workplace and enriching both the Company’s and employees’ culture.

JOB ROTATION PROJECT  

This Corcos project was born to encourage skills and knowledge exchanges among employees. The project allows people to work for a short period with colleagues who operate in production or in a different department. This is one of the most effective initiatives for personal development and for promoting both team work and knowledge of the Company organisation.

DISABLED WORKERS PROJECT  

Through practical training and cooperation with health societies, Corcos encourages hiring of disabled workers. This project demonstrates the importance of being an integral part of our social and territorial structure.

"SPREMIAMO LA CRISI"
 

"Spremiamo la crisi" stems from the desire of the Directors of Personnel of some of the most important companies in the Pinerolo area in order to activate all possible energies designed to jump-start the local economy, to overcome social difficulties and allow workers to recover some of their real purchasing power. This project is carried out through:

  • joint research of appropriate forms of relief,
  • reduction and/or assistance from any public or private institutions and companies to beneficiaries of the initiative;
  • to promote the implementation of measures of support and guidance to people facing difficulties in employment (educational interventions aimed at increasing the personal capital to be spent in the undertaking or face possible reintegration better labor market);
  • encourage and strengthen exchanges and cooperation between members in terms both of activities and of suggestions.
